Some flavors are so beautiful, they deserve to be savored in more than one way. When we set out to turn our spices into extracts, we partnered with Bittercube, a Milwaukee-based bitters maker just as devoted to extraordinary flavor as we are. Together, we began pairing our single-origin spices with exceptional spirits to create something truly special.
Our first creation was Cardamom Extract, made with fragrant cardamom grown high in the cloud forests of Guatemala. It sold out almost as quickly as it arrived, finding its way into cocktails, cakes, braises, and all manner of holiday creations. Next came our rich, sweet Vanilla Extract, made with Nyanza vanilla from Tanzania and extracted in a rich blend of rum and bourbon.
Now, just in time for the season of gathering and giving, we're adding a new extract to the collection: Cinnamon Extract, made with our best-selling Royal cinnamon and rye whiskey. Together, these extracts make wonderful gifts for the curious cook, the cocktail lover, or anyone who believes a little extra flavor can make an ordinary moment feel extraordinary.
