"Baobab adds a citrusy, tangy flavor to this pudding, while vanilla and black tea offer richness and warmth. This recipe keeps well in the fridge for up to 5 days."

Baobab Vanilla Tea Chia Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tea brewed with 1 tea bag of Vanilla Baobab Black Tea (cooled)

  • ½ cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg

  • 3 Tbsp chia seeds

  • 1-2 Tbsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)

  • Fresh fruit (berries, banana slices, etc.) for serving

Directions

  1. Brew 1 cup of Vanilla Baobab Black Tea. Allow it to steep for about 5–7 minutes, then let it cool completely.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the cooled tea, almond milk, nutmeg, vanilla extract, chia seeds and honey or maple syrup. Make sure the chia seeds are well distributed and not clumping together.

  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 3–4 hours, or overnight. The chia seeds will absorb the liquid and create a thick, pudding-like consistency.

  4. Once the pudding has set, give it a quick stir and taste to adjust sweetness if needed. Serve in bowls or jars, topped with fresh fruit like berries, bananas, or coconut flakes.
